Starting again with room for engineering leadership, technical experiments, and the things that connect them.
I wanted a place that felt like my own: somewhere to write about leading software teams, share the things I build, and work through ideas in public.
Three threads
Leadership, technology, and life. Some posts will be about the work of helping teams do good work. Others will follow a technical experiment or a lesson from my homelab. Occasionally, I’ll write about something outside either category.
The projects here will be grounded in work I’ve actually done. I’m beginning with a TrueNAS and HexOS homelab case study, where even a small change can teach you something about diagnosis, verification, and recovery.
This is a beginning, rather than a complete archive. I’m looking forward to seeing what grows here.
